Stages

Order stages are used to define the physical stages of product items from the point of entry to when they leave at the exit point. Order stages are assigned to stations so that each station correctly shows to the operator the items stage it is bumped through the items journey.

Order Stages

The default order stages are available within configuration:

  • Preparation - product items are being cooked / made

  • Assembly - product items have been cooked / made and have come together at the assembly / pass area for final plating (this stage is optional in any configuration)

  • Serving - product items are ready to be served to a guest

  • Delivered - the product has left the system and is assumed to be served

Modifying Order Stages

Follow these steps to modify order stages:

  1. Edit order stage fields as required

    • Display Name

    • Colour

    • Icon

    • New Duration

  2. Click Save

Other Settings

An additional order stage of Waiting to Start can be enabled within the other settings, this setting can be enabled for any order but is particularly useful in conjunction cook time operations.

Follow these steps to modify other settings:

  1. Select the check box for Enable Waiting to Start

    When enabling an additional row will be added to the preparation section where the colour and icon can be configured
  2. Select the required Indicator from the drop down

    • Icon configured in the Order Stages section

    • Text of "Wait"

  3. Select the check box if the Secondary Timer is to be displayed (optional)

  4. Click Save

If waiting to start has been enabled during onsite operations where any routing is sending an item to more than 1 station both stations must start that item individually
