Stages
Order stages are used to define the physical stages of product items from the point of entry to when they leave at the exit point. Order stages are assigned to stations so that each station correctly shows to the operator the items stage it is bumped through the items journey.

The default order stages are available within configuration:

Preparation - product items are being cooked / made

Assembly - product items have been cooked / made and have come together at the assembly / pass area for final plating (this stage is optional in any configuration)

Serving - product items are ready to be served to a guest

Delivered - the product has left the system and is assumed to be served
Modifying Order Stages
Follow these steps to modify order stages:

Edit order stage fields as required

Display Name

Colour
-
Icon
-
New Duration
-

Click Save
Other Settings
An additional order stage of Waiting to Start can be enabled within the other settings, this setting can be enabled for any order but is particularly useful in conjunction cook time operations.
Follow these steps to modify other settings:

Select the check box for Enable Waiting to Start
When enabling an additional row will be added to the preparation section where the colour and icon can be configured -
Select the required Indicator from the drop down

Icon configured in the Order Stages section

Text of "Wait"

Select the check box if the Secondary Timer is to be displayed (optional)

Click Save

Order Stages
Order stages are used as items progress through the preparation journey.

The name given to the order stage (used in channels for customer facing order display screens) |

The system name given to the order stage (these cannot be changed) |
Colour |
Drop down to define the colour of the order stage icon displayed on different Kitchen iQ views (views are configured for channels) |

New Duration |
Input to configure the MM:SS of a new ticket displayed - new tickets are displayed with a flashing timer, for the time configured |
Other Settings
Other settings enable additional stage of waiting to start.

Enable Waiting to Start |
Check box to define if an additional stage of "Waiting to Start" should be used, waiting to start is commonly used in the Cook Time Operational mode. When enabled all items when displayed on a Kitchen iQ view will be in the stage of Waiting to Start and will require an operator to "bump" the item to start the preparation process |
