What's New

The following new features have been introduced in this version of FreedomPay.

Feature Description
SAF Schemes to have fewer than 12 characters

We introduced a new feature in FreedomPay 1.3.8 to identify offline transactions on the 7 Day Statement of Trade Report from Aztec. This report was unable to support card schemes with longer names due to a 12 character limit in Aztec

This change allows matching to truncated card scheme names e.g. SAF Masterca for Mastercard, or SAF China Un for China Union Pay

View serial number of Lane devices

Current ‘Sys Info Print’ button currently used for Verifone has been repurposed for FreedomPay to read the locally connected Lane PED serial number and display this on the till. Note – this button can be re-named as appropriate

There is a known issue below, related to this feature, as such, this feature is not supported for any customer using multiple MIDs on a single site
