Interface settings enable the management of different functions and settings that users will see throughout Acquire.

Navigate to Admin Functions | Company Settings | Interface

Follow these steps configure interface settings:

  1. Set any check boxes as required for the applicable settings

    Setting Description
    Show Outlet Reference instead of Outlet Name When selected, if no outlet reference is provided, the outlet name is displayed
    Allow decimal quantities when dispatching / accepting orders When selected, users can enter decimal quantities when dispatching / accepting orders
    Allow outlets to post notes to orders When selected, outlets can add notes to orders
    Prevent outlets from placing orders when they have dispatched orders that are over X days old When selected, outlets are prevented from placing orders when they have dispatched orders older than the number of days defined. To proceed, users must accept the outstanding orders, or select a reason why they cannot be accepted at this time. This gives users another 24 hours to accept the order
    Allow suppliers to create back orders When selected, suppliers can create back orders when they cannot fulfil part of an order
    Allow users to add items to dispatched orders When selected, users are able to add extra items to dispatched orders. For example, if a supplier issues a dispatch advice when communicating an order to their warehouse, you may be able to contact the supplier by telephone and add items to the order. You will then need to update the order in Acquire to match what will be delivered
    Allow integrated suppliers to create dispatched orders for outlets When selected, integrated suppliers will be able to created dispatched orders for outlets. This allows suppliers to put together an order for an arranged regular delivery or create orders from telephone requests
    Enforce zero quantity templates When selected, users cannot enter line item quantities when creating or editing templates. This forces outlets to identify the actual quantities needed rather than using quantities on the template
