Terminals

Terminal groups are used when routing control is needed based on where the order originated from, from. The settings within the site section allow the mapping between the terminal names created in configuration and the physical terminals on site.

Routing rules will then use the terminal group followed by the ID number to determine the station the product items should be sent to.

Adding New Terminal Mapping

Follow these steps to add a new mappings:

  1. Click Add

  2. Select the required Terminal Group from the drop down

  3. Enter the Terminals by:

    • Entering the Name as setup in Aztec Theme Modelling | Site Setup | Devices

    • Entering the POS ID as automatically created in Aztec Theme Modelling | Site Setup | Devices

    Enter the value and press <enter> or by clicking the green cross to add

  4. Click Save

Remember that if terminals name changes in Theme Modelling the configuration mapping will need to be updated otherwise routing rules will fail because the name is no longer correct within the mapping
