The following information describes the setup and use of features within this release of Aztec.
Help Information on Insert Declarations
Information
When attempting to perform declarations for inserts in Finance → Declarations updates have been made to user messaging to advise why the action cannot be completed.

When days are not signed off
If there are multiple days awaiting sign off, the message will advise of the oldest date that requires sign off-
'Sign off has not been completed for <Date>. Please navigate to Admin → Sign Off and perform a Sign Off for this date'

When user does not have permission
-
'You do not have permission to perform declarations'

No sessions awaiting declaration

'Unable to declare the terminal. No sessions waiting declaration

Prevent Payments from being Reversed (Refunded)
Setup

Select the required payment method

Set the check box for Prevent Payment Correction

Click Save

Perform a Comms Job & Send to POS to site
POS Operations

In the corrections screen when trying to perform a payment reversal this will be prevented
-
A message is displayed to the POS operator 'This type of payment cannot be corrected'
Forgotten Password Hint
Setup

Enter / update the required text for Forgotten Password Hint
The default hint text shown is: 'Please ask a manager with appropriate permissions to reset your password. If the above is not possible, please contact your company IT dept. to reset your password.' -
Click Save

When clicking on the forgotten password link on the Aztec login screen the new information will be displayed.
Add Comments to Banking
Setup

Set the check box for Allow Banking Comments

Click Save

Enter a banking as normal

Enter any additional comments
Any banking comments are optional, a user is not required to enter information
The comments input is displayed with the banking references

Complete the banking as normal
Additional Information

If Allow banking comments is disabled at a later stage, any existing comments entered can still be viewed. It is not possible, however, to edit the comments

When viewing a banking comments will be displayed

When editing a banking comments can be added or updated
Aztec Password Reuse
Setup
-
Set the check box for Password Reuse
-
Set the required Number of Password Changes
The minimum number of password changes required before a password can be reused is 2 and maximum is 24 -
Click Save

Onsite Operations
When Password Reuse has been enabled and a user goes to change their Aztec password and they try and use a password that has been used within the configured number of changes, they will prompted to change their password.
If they enter a password that has been previously been used they will be prompted with 'The password entered has been used recently. Please enter a different password'.
Additional Information

When an employee has been terminated in Aztec, and then reinstated, none of the passwords used prior to termination will be prevented from being used

The passwords stored for Password Reuse configuration will not include the passwords from non-upgraded sites
