Termination Codes

When an employee leaves the business, and terminated from Aztec a code is assigned to record the reason for their departure. By default, there is a selection of both voluntary and involuntary codes, but additional codes can be created and managed as needed, this page outlines the process for managing these codes.

Navigate to Staff & Security → Configuration → Termination Codes

Adding Termination Codes

Follow these steps to add a termination code:

  1. Click Add

  2. Enter the Code and Description

  3. Set if the code is Voluntary or Involuntary

  4. Click Finish

Discontinuing Termination Codes

If a code is not longer required they can be discontinued so that they are not shown to back of house operators.

Follow these steps to discontinue termination codes:

  1. Select the required Termination Code

  2. Click Discontinue

  3. Click Yes to confirm discontinuing of the code

Termination codes can be reintroduced back after being discontinued

Follow these to reintroduced:

  1. Select the check box for Show Discontinued Items

  2. Select the required discontinued code

    Discontinued codes are displayed in grey
  3. Click Reintroduce

  4. Click Yes to confirm the reintroducing of the code
