What's New

This release of iServe contains a fix for the payment issues that have been reported in production. There are also 2 new features in this release to support AMEX payments, and adding EFT Breakdown support so that payments can be viewed by card issuer in the 7 day statement of trade.

Payment issue fix for FreedomPay

We have addressed the payment issues seen in production by adding new database functionality to ensure that payments and their status are tracked throughout the payment journey, and can be recalled from the database if necessary. Additionally we have hardened the payment logic if a user unexpectedly exits the payment flow, to ensure that we appropriately cancel, or send payments where needed.

New Features

The following new features have been introduced in this version of iServe Plus.

Feature Description

Support for AMEX on FreedomPay devices

We have implemented the ability to receive EMV PAL updates from the FreedomPay portal. This allows us to enable AMEX payments on iServe Plus with FreedomPay devices.

Please note for AMEX to be accepted on iServe Plus 2.3.0 Zonal must manually push a configuration file down to the device from the FreedomPay portal.

EFT Breakdown Support

We have implemented functionality that allows iServe to report on the card issuer used at payment. This will enable the 7 Day statement of trade to correctly display the card issuer if an EFT Breakdown method has been set up in Aztec.

Additional Information

Per guest/seat ordering has been temporarily disabled. Tables that have per guest/seat ordering enabled in Aztec will not be supported in iServe Plus
