| Supporting Charitable Donations Through Pennies |
We have added support for Pennies donations in card‑present payment flows. When a site is configured for Pennies and a transaction meets the configured criteria (for example, a minimum transaction value), the PED will display a donation prompt as part of the payment flow. Pennies donations and tips are returned to the POS as separate values, allowing them to be distinguished from the core payment amount. The donation amount is also printed on the receipt. |
| Automated Dojo Terminal ID Swap Process |
We’ve introduced a new, simpler way for sites to replace Dojo PEDs without needing to contact Support to manually map a replacement device. Once the replacement PED is connected, the operator initiates transactions on the old PED being replaced, which will fail. After three failed attempts within one minute, the POS will display a prompt allowing the operator to match the POS button to the new Terminal ID (TID). This process is repeated twice to confirm the correct TID selection. Once confirmed, the new PED is fully operational. During the PED mapping process, all transactions can be cancelled, ensuring no charges are taken while setting up the new device. See our step‑by‑step guide to the process here: TID Swap Guide |
| Support Pre-Auth and Reversals After a Restart |
Servers can now reverse Dojo transactions after a ZCPS restart or the site PC going down. This also enables card validations to persist, meaning that claw backs can be taken after a service restart. |

Print duplication with some devices - POS printing is no longer on by default, which avoids duplicate printing as Dojo PED have in most cases the option to print a receipt directly from the PED. It can be configured on or off at a terminal or site level. |

If cash back is turned on in Aztec, but disabled on the PED, an API problem means ZCPS must wait to receive the transaction status. The POS now detects this scenario and shows a warning ‘Check device has cashback enabled’, and servers can cancel the transaction after 30 seconds. |
