Customer Success have previously given tips and tricks to growing/building on to existing loyalty schemes (you can read it here: “5 Tips to growing your Loyalty Programme”), but something we have noticed to be just as important, is the links it can have within the Zonal eco-system. When customers initially onboard with Zonal, it can be that over a number of years, more and more products, integrations are built on. We highly recommend taking a look and checking that these systems are talking to one another…..
1. Bookings
Having a Loyalty and Bookings integration is a no brainer.
This integration means that your customers loyalty card will be automatically linked to their booking as soon as they make one. No need to scan cards or QR codes at the till or expecting the customer to find an email with their details in their phone when it comes time to pay.
A loyalty symbol will appear next to their booking on Tables Host so you can see at a glance they are a loyalty customer. The card details will also automatically pull through to POS so when checking out you can add the discounts straight to the bill.
You can also reward your customers for making and completing a reservation. You could set up a reward for their next visit or even on number of reservations made.
2. White Label App
If you are already using our White Label App and have your loyalty sign up journey included, you can set up auto enrolment This means that anyone who signs up to the app will automatically be signed up for Loyalty too. This is done within the settings in iOrder. This allows for a shorter customer journey instead of having to sign up for both the App and Loyalty.
Within the White Label App the customer will be able to see a QR code of their Loyalty card along with all their rewards. Using the Order & Pay journey customers can earn their points or currency as well as the ability to redeem some of the rewards.
3. HLS
With the HLS integration, you can reward your residential guests for their stay through Zonal Loyalty.
Guests can earn points or currency based on the cost of their accommodation. If using currency-based program guest can spend their currency on Accommodation transactions.
Customers can as part of the booking journey add their own Loyalty card number to their booking or it can be added at any part of the check in process. The guests can also earn their points and rewards on any food & beverage transactions such as part of a Dinner Bed and Breakfast rate using post to room functionality and swiping/scanning their card or QR Code for each transaction.
4. Aztec POS
The main benefits of having an EPOS integration is the real time Aztec Integration and conversion is automatic. Offering a straightforward process to rewards your customers. As simple as scanning a QR code from their phone or app (even a screen shot would work) or type in the number and within 2 button clicks you can redeem rewards.
The rewards that show on your POS will be specific to that customer, keeping the process simple and straight forward to avoid long queues at the bar whilst the team member search menus for the rewards. If you use iServes you are also able to scan the QR codes on the camera to add to an order. Great for those beer garden days.
5. Airship
The Loyalty integration with Airship allows for more flexibility on segmented rewards. With Airship you can automatically trigger emails for things such as number of loyalty points accrued, birthday rewards and registration. The emails can prompt members to check their loyalty account for new rewards or offers. The emails can also include dynamic fields for Loyalty card Number, so they have it handy on the email too.
Another great feature from Airship is you can alert your members to any points/rewards or offers that are about to expire to encourage them to come into your venue to redeem them before they are lost.
You can also contact non-loyalty customers to encourage them to sign up.
We hope this has been useful, however should you have any further questions on how you can improve the usage of Loyalty, then please get in touch with the Customer Success team. Zonal team members can request for Customer Success Resource here, and we will be happy to help.
