How To - Pay at Table


  1. Log in to the Move 500 with your 4 digit PIN
  2. When logged in press the Select Table/Bill button
  3. The Enter Check Number dialogue will be displayed
  4. Enter the required table number and press the green Enter button

    5. Selecting a table with no active saved account, or if there is no money belt session open, will display the message 'Cannot talk to server'


  5. The select payment amount will be displayed with the following options:
    • Full
    • Split
    • Other
  6. When completing a full payment, if configured, the tip prompt will be displayed allowing the guest to select from the pre-configured values or by selecting Other

    7. To skip the tip prompt, press 'Other' then confirm a tip of 0.00 using the green button

    OR

    Press the green button twice to proceed to payment


  7. A split payment allows the customer to divide the total value by X guests
    Selecting Split will display Enter check split count,
    Enter the value and, if configured, the tip prompt will be displayed allowing the guest to select from the pre-configured values or by selecting other
    Once completed the PED will prompt for the next payment until all splits are completed

  8. The other option allows a custom value to be entered to be paid
    Enter the value required and, if configured, the tip prompt will be displayed allowing the guest to select from the pre-configured values or by selecting other.
    Once completed the PED will prompt for the next payment until the total value is paid.

  9. When the desired payment amount has been selected and any tips entered the customer will be prompted on the PED to Insert, Swipe or Tap their card

  10. If the customer has inserted their card, 'Please Wait' will be displayed, followed by 'Enter PIN'

  11. 'PIN OK' will then be displayed, followed by 'Authorising'

  12. Once the transaction has authorised the customer can remove their card and the PED will print the EFT voucher.

  13. Press OK to confirm the transaction or Reprint to generate a second copy of the EFT voucher.

  14. Once the table is fully paid, the account will close on the POS terminal.

  15. Select the Back button, and choose to Sign Out of the device
