How To - Dashboard Settings
Defining Dashboard Settings
Site administrators can define up to six widgets to be displayed on the host dashboard. These widgets allow staff to view summary information about all operations on the current day. You can display multiple instances of the same widget if required.
The following widgets are available:

Logo - Allows the host to add a logo to the host app dashboard.

Notes - Displays a list of all current notes.

Store Inbox - Displays a list of current inbox messages.

Session Stats - Displays the session stats (currently already available in host app)
-
Current wait times - Allows the host to view cover count and wait time combinations more quickly.

Upcoming Reservations - Displays a list of upcoming reservations showing the guest name, number of guests per Adult, Child and highchair requirements.

Table Stats and Guest Courses - Tells the host the number of tables on each status and their level of occupancy.

Cover Levels - Displays the number of covers each day for the current day, the previous seven days and the seven days to come.

Available Tables - Displays table information so that hosts can refer to a list of available tables at a glance without opening the popup dialogue.

Guest Summary - Displays guest list information so that hosts can see a list of upcoming, waiting and seated guests at a glance without needing to switch to the table plan view.
To set up Dashboard Settings for site:

From the site administrator’s menu bar, choose Site Setup.

Select Dashboard Settings
- Select the required widgets by choosing from the drop-down lists.
- Select Save when complete.
Adding a LogoDashboard Widget
You can configure Tables to display a logo on the dashboard. The size of logo that can be used depends on the hardware being used on-site, although if the wrong size of logo is used, Tables will scale the graphic for a best fit.

To set up a logo as a dashboard widget:

From the site administrator’s menu bar, choose Site Setup.

Select Dashboard Settings.

Select Logo from the drop-down list where you want the logo to be displayed.

Select Save.
-
Select Configure Logo.
- Edit the name of the logo widget if required.
- Select Choose File to select the required logo from your local or network drive.
- Select Save. The logo is displayed.
- Select Back to Dashboard to continue editing your dashboard settings.

The selected logo will appear in the chosen section on the host app.
Adding a Notes Dashboard Widget
The Notes widget picks up all notes and alerts from the host app.
To set up Notes as a dashboard widget:

From the site administrator’s menu bar, choose Site Setup.

Select Dashboard Settings.
-
Select Notes from the drop-down list where you want the Notes widget to be displayed.

Select Save.
-
Select Configure Notes.
-
Edit the name of the Notes widget if required.

Select Show to choose whether to display current active notes, all notes for today, upcoming notes for today or all notes for tomorrow.
- Select Save.
- Select Back to Dashboard to continue editing your dashboard settings.

The Notes widget will appear in the chosen section on the host app.
Adding a Store Inbox Dashboard Widget
To set up your Store Inbox as a dashboard widget:

From the site administrator’s menu bar, choose Site Setup.

Select Dashboard Settings.
-
Select Store Inbox from the drop-down list where you want the Store Inbox widget to be displayed.

Select Save.

Select Configure Store Inbox.
- Edit the name of the Store Inbox widget if required.
- Select Show to choose whether to display all messages, all except table status alerts or only table status alerts.
- Select Save.
- Select Back to Dashboard to continue editing your dashboard settings.
- The Inbox widget will appear in the chosen section on the host app.
Adding a Session Stats Dashboard Widget
To set up session stats as a dashboard widget:

From the site administrator’s menu bar, choose Site Setup.

Select Dashboard Settings.

Select Session Stats from the drop-down list where you want the Session Stats widget to be displayed.

Select Save.

Select Configure Session Stats.
- Edit the name of the Session Stats Inbox widget if required.
- Select Save.
- Select Back to Dashboard to continue editing your dashboard settings.
- The Session Stats widget will appear in the chosen section on the host app.
Adding a Current Wait Times Dashboard Widget
To set up your current wait times as a dashboard widget:

From the site administrator’s menu bar, choose Site Setup.

Select Dashboard Settings.

Select Current Wait Times from the drop-down list where you want the Current Wait Times widget to be displayed.

Select Save.

Select Configure Current Wait Times.
- Edit the name of the Current Wait Times widget if required.
- Select the cover counts whose wait times you want to display in the Current Wait Times widget.
- Select Save.
- Select Back to Dashboard to continue editing your dashboard settings.
- The Current Wait Times widget will appear in the chosen section on the host app.
Adding an Upcoming Reservations Dashboard Widget
To set up your upcoming reservations as a dashboard widget:

From the site administrator’s menu bar, choose Site Setup.

Select Dashboard Settings.

Select Upcoming Reservations from the drop-down list where you want the Upcoming Reservations widget to be displayed.

Select Save.

Select Configure Upcoming Reservations.
- Edit the name of the Upcoming Reservations widget if required.
- Select Show to choose whether to display all reservations including no-shows and cancellations or all reservations without no-shows or cancellations.
- Select Save.
- Select Back to Dashboard to continue editing your dashboard settings.
- The Upcoming Reservations widget will appear in the chosen section on the host app.
Adding a Table Stats and Guest Courses Dashboard Widget
To set up your table stats and guest courses as a dashboard widget:

From the site administrator’s menu bar, choose Site Setup.

Select Dashboard Settings.
-
Select Table Stats and Guest Courses from the drop-down list where you want the Table Stats and Guest Courses widget to be displayed.

Select Save.
-
Select Configure Table Stats and Guest Courses.
- Edit the name of the Table Stats and Guest Courses widget if required.
- Select the required check-boxes to determine which stats are displayed in the widget:
- Show Arrived – Include arrived guests in the table stats
- Show Blocked – Include blocked tables in the table stats
- Show Bus – Include bussed tables in the table stats
- Show Not Arrived – Include overdue guests in the table stats
- Select the courses that you want to include in the widget.
- Select Save.
- Select Back to Dashboard to continue editing your dashboard settings.

The Table Stats and Guest Courses widget will appear in the chosen section on the host app.
Adding a Cover Levels Dashboard Widget
To set up your cover levels as a dashboard widget:

From the site administrator’s menu bar, choose Site Setup.

Select Dashboard Settings.
-
Select Cover Levels from the drop-down list where you want the Cover Levels widget to be displayed.

Select Save.

Select Configure Cover Levels.
- Edit the name of the Cover Levels widget if required.
- Select Save.
- Select Back to Dashboard to continue editing your dashboard settings.
- The Cover Levels widget will appear in the chosen section on the host app.
Adding an Available Tables Widget
To set up your available tables as a dashboard widget:

From the site administrator’s menu bar, choose Site Setup.

Select Dashboard Settings.

Select Available Tables from the drop-down list where you want the Available Tables widget to be displayed.

Select Save.

Select Configure Available Tables.
- Edit the name of the Available Tables widget if required.
- Select Save.
- Select Back to Dashboard to continue editing your dashboard settings.
- The Available Tables widget will appear in the chosen section on the host app.
Adding aGuest Summary Widget
To set up your guest summary as a dashboard widget:

From the site administrator’s menu bar, choose Site Setup.

Select Dashboard Settings.
-
Select Guest Summary from the drop-down list where you want the Guest Summary widget to be displayed.

Select Save.
-
Select Configure Guest Summary.
- Edit the name of the Guest Summary widget if required.
- Select Save.
- Select Back to Dashboard to continue editing your dashboard settings.
- The Guest Summary widget will appear in the chosen section on the host app.
