How To - Using the Seated Tab

The Seated tab provides summary information about all customers served in your restaurant during the current session for the past 24 hours. For customers that are still seated, users have the option to unseat them or mark them as having left the site, either marking the table as dirty (Bus) or cleared.

When an alert condition has been met, alerts will be displayed in the appropriate customer’s row. The table number and turnaround time is shown, and users can switch between Guest and Summary views as shown below:

Numbers in green bubbles on the ribbon can show the number of reservations or the number of covers on each calendar day, depending on how liveRES Tables is configured in Brand Preferences.

Numbers shown in red bubbles on the ribbon represent the number of notes on each calendar day.

These numbers refresh every minute, so users may not see the numbers change immediately after a change.

Menus are displayed in the Notes column. The menu name can be read from Tables or the Events / Reservations applications. If a menu was chosen in Events, you cannot use the Menu Selection screen in Tables to make changes for that guest. Changes to these menu selections must be made in Events.

If you need more information about the customer, for example because they left their phone or wallet at the table, select the information icon alongside the customer to display all available details in the Booking Details window.
