How To - Updating the Wait Time
The default wait time is calculated automatically based on cover size, the current seat assignments and reservations pending. You can only update the wait time for walk-in customers.
Alternate turn times are also available for different wait times. For example, you may not be able to seat a table of 2 for a full 2 hour turn time for another 30 minutes, but if the customer was willing to be seated for only 90 minutes, they could be seated immediately.
To change the wait time:
- Select the customer in the Wait List or the guest queue/guest summary.
- Select Back in the bottom left corner of the Enter Guest Details window. The Choose Wait Time window is displayed.
- Select the desired wait and turn combination or set the wait time manually
- Select Next.
- Select Update on the Enter Guest Details window.
