How To - Configuring your Table Plan for the Layout

While the site layout is defined at company level, host users can change the way information is presented and modify the position of tables on the plan to cater for large bookings or special events.

To change the way information is presented on the restaurant map:

On the Dashboard, select the Table Planning tab and then the Map button.
This opens an option box that allows you to configure the Store Layout for the selected area.

From the View Seated Guests As drop-down menu, choose one of the following:
- icon only: Whether to show seated customers with an icon only.
- icon + count up: Whether to show seated customers with an icon and the count-up time.
- icon + seated time: Whether to show seated customers with an icon and seated time.
- icon + count down to departure: Whether to show seated customers with an icon and time to the guest’s expected departure time.
From the View Queued Guests As drop-down menu, choose one of the following:
- icon only: Whether to show queued customers with an icon only.
- icon + count-down: Whether to show queued customers with an icon and count-down time.
- icon + arrival time: Whether to show queued customers with an icon and the arrival time.
From the Currently Blocked Tables drop-down menu, choose one of the following:
- icon only: Whether to show currently blocked tables with an icon only.
- icon + count-down to end of block: Whether to show currently blocked tables with an icon and the count down time to the end of the restriction.
From the Future Blocked Tables drop-down menu, choose one of the following:
- icon only: Whether to show future blocked tables with an icon only.
- icon + time of day of start of block: Whether to show future blocked tables with an icon and the time of day the restriction starts.
- icon + count-down to block start: Whether to show future blocked tables with an icon and the count down time to the start of the restriction.
Each time you make a change, the map updates to reflect your choices.
