Adding & Configuring Printers

The Printers tab is used to configure any printers on each site and references a printers' setup within the configuration.

 

Option	Description/Usage
Name	Drop down to define the printer as setup in the configuration section
Type	Drop down to define the physical hardware type - currently supported printers: Orient BTP-R580II Epson TM-U220 Only IP Printer are available for use within Kitchen iQ printing
IP Address	Entry box to define the IP address of the printer
Last Job	Display box to show when the last job was sent to the printer
Last Status	Display box to show the last status of the printer

Before any printers can be configured the printer name must be setup within the configuration and the correct configuration applied to the site before the names will be available

To add a new printer:

1. Select the Printers tab

2. Click Add

3. From the Name drop down, select the printer as defined within the assigned configuration

4. From the Type drop down select the correct printer type

5. Enter the IP Address

6. Click Save
