Tap to Pay - Naming Consistency
Throughout iServe we have ensured that any references to the Tap to Pay functionality have been correctly named as 'Tap to Pay'. Previously we had 'Pay by Tap' mentioned on a few of the screens.
Tap to Pay - Better card declined errors
When processing a Tap to Pay payment that has been declined due to needing Chip & Pin verification iServe will now present the user with an informative error letting them know that the transaction will need to be processed via card insertion using a Chip & Pin PED. iServe will also prevent the user from immediately re-attempting the transaction via Tap to Pay as it will result in the same error.
If the payment declines for any other reason iServe will allow the user to re-attempt the payment via the payment declined screen, and offer the user a declined card receipt if needed.
