Zonal Connect Framework Technical Specifications

A number of components are released as part of a Zonal Connect Framework release which are defined as follows:

  • ZCF Site Proxy: The component installed on the site PC to route inbound traffic to the correct service

  • ZCF Head Office Proxy: This component is installed on a web server at the customer’s head office to route inbound traffic to the correct site

  • Aztec Core Web Service: Web Service to get data from the Aztec Database (Aztec Core Web Service has its own installer from 4.21.0 onwards, before 4.21.0 it was bundled with the C3PO installer)

  • ZCF Gateway: This component is installed in Zonal's Data Centre. It is used to route traffic to a customers estate

  • ZCF Site Proxy Status Monitor: This component is installed at the Customers Head Office. It comes bundled with the Aztec Installer. It is used to monitor the status and load on Mobile Ordering Terminals (iOrder)
