The following task list should be completed to setup the interface to High Level Property Management System for room charges.

Create Payment Method

The Room payment method needs to be created with a type of Room (SOAP) and Auto Declare checked

Add button to Theme (Payment Method)

The Room payment button needs to be added to the relevant theme, this can be found in the button picker under Other Lists | Payments

(Optional) - Add button to Theme (Room Enquiry)

The Room Enquiry button needs to be added to the relevant theme, this can be found in the button picker under Other Lists | iZone

Room Enquiry is a function to check who is checked into a room either by searching on room number or guest name

Create Hotel Divisions

The required Hotel Divisions should be created in Theme Modelling | Global Configs

Assign Hotel Divisions to Sub-Categories

The required Hotel Divisions should assigned Sub-Categories in Theme Modelling | Config Sets

Assign Hotel Divisions to Service Charge Tax Rules

The required Hotel Divisions should be assigned to Service Charge tax rules Finance | Configuration | Exclusive Tax Rules

Set PMS Plugin Details

The required Plugin details should be obtained from HLS which should then be assigned in Base Data | Estate Structure | Site | CLM tab

SQL Configuration - Set PMS Time Periods

The required time periods should be added to the SQL Database by Zonal.

 

The following task list should be completed to setup the interface to High Level Property Management System for non-room charges, if it has been enabled in step 7 of the room charges section "Set PMS Plugin Details.

If non-room charges are not in use this setup is not required.

Complete Payment Mapping

All payment methods must be mapped to the HLS payment methods:

  • Cash

  • CreditCard

  • BACS

  • Cheque

  • GiftCard

  • Loyalty

The mapping of payment methods is completed on a per site basis by Zonal
