Order Builder - Delivery Charge Setup

Head Office Configuration - Product Modelling

  1. At head office, open Aztec Product Modelling| three new products are needed to be created: Delivery Charge, DelChargeMax and DelChargeMin

    It is strongly recommended that the 3 delivery charge products are set up in a subcategory that belongs to a division that is excluded from stocks

  2. Delivery Charge: setup with the following configuration

Head Office Configuration - Pricing

  1. At head office, open Aztec Standard Pricing | Price Matrix | Select the required subcategory and click Load

    Set the prices required for the three new delivery products.

    Based on this example:

    • DelChargeMin - In the above example, this has been set in Band A at £5.00. This means that an order total in the basket needs to be at least £5.00 in value to meet minimum requirements to allow a delivery order and also to then trigger the delivery charge

    • DelChargeMax - In the above example, this has been set in Band A at £20.00. This means that when an order total in the basket reaches £20.00, the delivery charge changes to £0.00 and you will not be charged for your delivery

    • Delivery Charge - In the above example, this has been set in Band A at £2.50. This means that when the order total in the basket has reached the minimum spend value and less than the maximum spend value, a delivery charge of £2.50 will be applied to order total in the basket

      Remember for any new sub-categories that have been created sales area banding must be applied for each site that is going to be using the delivery charge feature

Head Office Configuration - Add buttons to Theme

The Delivery Charge buttons needs to be added to the relevant theme, this can be found in the button picker under Products | Sub-Category

The DelChargeMin and DelChargeMax buttons should also be added to the theme, but these should be added to a hidden panel as these will not be used on the POS by the end user

Head Office Configuration - Send Changes to Sites

For the new settings made at Head Office to take effect at site, perform a communications job to the required sites.
