Updated Hotfix 05 June 2025
Hotfix 623011 - This Hotfix is to address bug 617564. An issue was found with Aztec Imports from Menu Manager. While importing a file, an incorrect cataloguing of Product references could result in failures for Send to POS and Theme Previews. This was caused by duplicated or incorrect Ingredient Display Order assignments with the products imported resulting in failed theme previews, auto Send to POS and Send to POS at site level. As a result, the imports from Menu Manager into Aztec were failing where historical products needed adjustment to fix comms.
This hotfix is for v3.32.0 and should be applied to Head Office and Single Site Master

Hotfix 614937 - This Hotfix is to address bug 602324. If a Sales Area's banded price has been changed to one not previously sent down to Site, then it would not be sending the prices down. This will result in band rendering all changed buttons to have no standard price.
This hotfix is for v3.32.0 and should be applied to Head Office and Single Site Master

Refine Aztec Promotions with greater detail allowing greater flexibility - AZT-852

This will provide facility for customers to configure promotions as available for all payment methods with product groups and available for all discounts separately.

To set a promotion to be available with all payment methods with product groups, within Promotion Wizard | Edit Promotion Wizard, 'Available for all payments' checkbox is ticked.

To set a promotion to be available with all discounts, within Promotion Wizard | Edit Promotion Wizard, 'Available for all discounts' checkbox is ticked.

Head Office Configuration - Send Changes to Sites

For the new settings made at Head Office to take effect at site, perform a communications job to the required sites.

Allowing Import of Products with Scale Containers - AZT-861

This feature is only applicable for Aztec Import. This will allow the import of products with scale containers through Aztec Import so the data can be populated in Aztec.

Import to include the following fields available in Theme Modelling | Estate Settings | Global Configs

  • Name

  • Description

  • Tare Weight

Restrictions: 

Recipes cannot be sold by weight as it contains a Choice

Reduce migration effort by providing Aztec+ Stocks (Enterprise) with final stock values - AZT-978

Aztec will provide the final closing stock (count and values) when a customer is migrated. These stocks are provided on a site to site basis

Aztec will provide

  • Closing Stock Quantity

  • Closing Costs of Products

Ability to refund actual item amounts and values when paid with Vouchers and Discounts - AZT-1017

When a customer requests a refund on a bill where a discount/promotion has been used, they will be refunded the correct amount paid. This will help keep the finances on site correct and stock levels maintained

To use this function, a Refund Account button is available on the Recall Account screen on the till

Recall an account by account number or receipt number) and select Refund Account

Select the product(s) that needs to be refunded and select Refund button

Select the Refund method and choose the mode of payment which will complete the refund process and close the account

  • Refunds are only offered on the day of the transaction

  • The discount/promotion will NOT be recalculated to check if there was any additional changes to the bill

Improve auditing by making available site stock audit records at Head Office - AZT-1071

This will enable any site stock audit records taken on the mobile stocks app to be communicated up to head office to be available for reporting.

Persist Search Result to improve usability on product search - AZT-1086

'Persist Product Search Results' only applies if product search is selected out-with a recipe ring. Ensure that Multi Price Enquiry and Product Search buttons are added to the till theme

There are a number of ways to cancel the ring up product. Recipe cancel, Open Price Entry cancel, Minor Ingredient out of stock cancel. In all these cases the product search will be re-displayed

Enhance client choice by adding Windows Tablet to our supported devices - AZT-1052

The model tested is Poindus iRugged A10. This tablet can be used in locations without a network and synchronised with Aztec when it is placed back on its docking station.

A printer has also been tested with this tablet. Printer model is TM-P80II-121 and this can be connected to the tablet via USB cable. Kindly note that this printer has wireless connection available but testing was only done with the USB cable connected.

A USB Cash Drawer can also be plugged in to the tablet directly or through its docking station

To setup the tablet go to Aztec | Theme Modelling | Site Settings | Devices. Select Hardware Type as XP POS
