Booking Engine Changes

Based on your valuable feedback and the data obtained from GTM4, we have implemented numerous improvements to our booking engines. Our main objective with these changes is to optimise your conversion rates - and turn lookers into bookers.

Removing A Card From A Profile

We've added a new feature that allows you to easily delete a credit card from both guest and corporate profiles. You'll now notice a trash can symbol next to the credit card details on either of these profiles. When a card is successfully deleted, it will be permanently removed from the profile and won't be available for selection on future bookings made by the same customer.

New Option - Making Credit Card Required For Staff Members

We've introduced a new hotel option, which ensures your staff members cannot proceed with a booking through the system without inputting Credit Card information. When activated, this feature will prevent staff users from bypassing the Credit Card entry page on the booking engine until all the necessary fields are completed. Preventing Blocks from Being Created, Moved or Deleted

We've recently enhanced the feature, allowing you to effortlessly add a credit card to a historical guest or past event during the checkout. Now, whether the guest has already checked out or the event has concluded, you'll consistently find the '+card' button on the booking hub page, streamlining the process for your convenience.

Minor Updates & Enhancements

We have also released several minor updates that affect the following areas:

  • Invoice Bug - Bug fix on balance being incorrect when sent to customers

  • Transfers - minor bug fixes and enhancements

  • TW Link - timing change to BST

  • Events Calendar –Block entered into the calendar now display without a refresh

  • Blocks – Bug Fix to block conversion on the calendar

  • Payment Gateway – Minor updates and enhancements
